Taylor was great. She was friendly and enthusiastic. There was plenty of food (more than I thought would be included). Yes, the samples at the Boston Market would have been free anyway the people at the honey stand and the nuts went out of their way to explain what they had to offer. I would not recommend the drink package....way too expensive for 2 drinks per person. Better to be able to order drinks when available.

I was disappointed in the Food Tour. I was expecting more history and information about Boston. There was ample time for the host to share with us stories while we sat and ate the food. I agree with the comments made by the April 16 reviewer (we may have been part of the same tour). Including the Boston Market vendor's that already provide free samples of nuts and honey to anyone was not exactly what you would expect on a 'food tour'. I was not surprised when they wrapped up the left over sandwiches to give to a vendor within the Boston Market since it was mentioned in a prior review. I know I would have enjoyed more of the sandwich (Italian and lobster roll)...but I felt uncomfortable to ask.

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear you didn't feel satisfied with the amount of history and information provided on the tour. We take a lot of time and care ensuring our guides are well-versed in this history of the city, and as we explained to you via email, the guide on your particular tour is one of our new guides still in the training process. We're also sorry to hear you didn't enjoy the honey tasting. While this is a free tasting, the presentation our guests receive is only available on our guided tour, creating a completely unique experience. Many of our guests find this to be their favorite part of the tour, as they have the opportunity to taste such a variety of unique honeys, while interacting with the vendor and learning a great deal about the different honeys and the bees that make them. And finally, we're sorry you didn't feel comfortable enough to ask your guide for any of the leftovers. Typically, if there is leftover food, it is offered to the guests on the tour. If nobody is interested, sometimes the guides will wrap them up to share with a vendor, as we hate to see food go to waste and we value the great relationships we've nurtured with our local merchants. However we will make sure that moving forward, it is made abundantly clear to our guests that they are welcomed to any leftovers at the end. We really hope you enjoyed the food, and would love another chance to have you on any of our 50+ tours around the globe.
