Our guide was great, friendly and informative. The food was very good. My only request would have been to incorporate more historical stops along the way since there are so many in that area. If you are looking for tasty food and no historical stops this one is for you!

While our tour guide "G" was energetic and had a lot of information to share, the overall tour was a bit disappointing. The heat of the day may have been the issue, but my expectation was that we would be sitting in certain places not walking to a cement park to eat a slice of pizza! The surprise bite was nuts which seemed like an odd choice albeit they were good! Two of the 6 tastings were at the Public Market, I would have liked to try things at a different venue in order to see more of the city, but that's me.

The guide Gocke (G) was exceptional, very friendly and charismatic. The tour started excellent with a stop at The Union Oyster House. Wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere. Eating baked beans & lobster rolls in the market was tasty, but a food court kind of feel. We walked to the North end for pizza and didn’t go inside Regina’s Pizza to eat because there wasn’t room for us. Ended up walking to a park to eat, not great. Lastly we had canolli standing on the sidewalk because again no room to sit down inside. The food was delicious every place we went, the service from restaurants, not so good with the exception of the Oyster House. G was truly a great guide, upbeat the entire time and she tried to make it a wonderful experience even though the pizza & bakery restaurants were not prepared. She would get 5 stars from us.
