Set sail with us for the whale watch experience of a lifetime. Our destination: Stellwagen Bank Marine Sanctuary, a rich feeding ground for whales, dolphins, sea birds and other marine creatures. You’ll have a good chance to view several different species of large whales, including humpbacks, finbacks, minkes, pilot whales and the critically endangered right whales.

The location of the whales may require more travel time, extending the trip beyond three hours. Please allow for additional time in your schedule. The average trip is between 3.5 to 4 hours.

We were unable to go on the whale tour but the crew were super friendly and apologetic when we were on board waiting.

We were unsure about this activity as my mum is afraid of the water. However, the folks on the boat were professional and made the journey safe and comfortable. Once we got out to the bay where the whales feed, she forgot all about the water and was excited and loved the experience. Definitely worth a trip if ever in bean town and the sun is shining. The only tip would be to eat and/or take your food before/on the trip as the food options are limited. My mum also lamented the lack of tea while on the boat.

Very poor! The purpose was to watch whales but just saw 2 very briefly came out of water. I had whale watching tour in Vancouver which they took us on the part of the ocean with groups of whales that were out of water frequently.
