I do not generally suffer from motion sickness, so I did not expect this tour to be a problem. In fact, we spend many hours on a boat each year. I spent the first half of this cruise with my head in the garbage can, along with my daughter, and many fellow passengers. It was not a rough day, and I cannot explain why the boat was shifting up and down at least four feet, so much so, that you could not walk without holding onto something. It was a miserable 3 plus hours for us. A complete waste of a day with recovery time. I am not saying that people can't enjoy this, just be aware that if you do suffer from motion sickness being trapped on this vessel may be more than you bargained for.

Good value. We have been quite lucky having seen a few whales and dolphins. Taking videos is better than many pictures.

The boat is basically a huge speedboat so going to the locations and coming back was fun. Saw about 6 whales total, one even fully jumped out of the water like a SeaWorld commercial but the guide did say that it's extremely rare for that to happen, something like 1 in 20 outings. So we got lucky I guess. I believe the booking site I used said it's a 3 hour tour but when you get there they say it's more like 4 hours. Only word of warning is if you take the later tour bring a sweater or thin jacket because it gets REAL cold coming back to the harbor at high speed at around 9:30 at night. And we went in August!
