Great boat...got to reserve pronto. We sat on top which was breezy but a real experience. Found mother and calf and stayed with them for a long time. Facilities on the boat were good. Trip took nearly four hours. Great value and a wonderful experience.

Was with my kids and husband age 5 and 9. We were on the 12pm cruise yesterday. oct 13. It was actually more like 5 hours long we returned to shore at 4:40. I was told by a few different people we were the only boat to get out all week due to choppy waters. The woman on board the ship told us 15 mins before departure they hadn’t been out all week and the ride may be “uncomfortable”. Understatement. If we’d purchased through the actual company we might’ve been able to cancel or get a rain check but because it was trip advisor the only thing we knew was we could cancel up to 24 hours before. So we decided to try it. “Uncomfortable” didn’t sound so awful? Wrong. I believe they shouldn’t have let us go out either. All I could hear on board were people throwing up. Both my kids were throwing up. I was throwing up the whole time. I was so excited for this and when the narrator finally did see whales we couldn’t even get up to look we were so sick and the rocking was too much. Not worth the price not even close. Torture needing to stay on this for close to 5 hours and the trip advisor advertisement said it was supposed to be 3. This should’ve been cancelled like every other sail this week and yesterday. Worst waste of money and full day of a two day trip to Boston ever. I felt so bad for my kids.

Hi Natasha S and thanks for your email. Sorry for your disappointment with your whale watch. Sometimes the seas are rough and can get progressively rougher as the trip goes along and we understand that seasickness - your own or that of those around you - is a terrible experience. Making the call of whether or not to go ahead with a trip can on certain days be a difficult one. We watch the weather/sea conditions closely and with safety as our top concern, we will not operate when the seas are too rough to provide safe passage. Passenger comfort and a wonderful experience are what we consistently aim for and unfortunately for you we clearly missed that mark. If you'd like to, please feel free to contact [email protected] to discuss and see what we can do to make it up to you.
