Four of us joined Captains Allison and Nathan on their Bourbon Pompeii tour. This 4+ hour excursion included a beautiful river ride followed by a tour of the excavation of old Buffalo Trace areas as well as a tasting and opportunity to buy top shelf bourbon at excellent prices! We enjoyed the day very much, due in large part to the professional, interesting and entertaining actions of Captains Allison and Nathan. They were both very knowledgeable about the river and history of bourbon in the area. We highly recommend this awesome tour! Thanks KY River Tours for the excellent tour and great memories!!!

We really enjoyed the History Tour with Captain Nathan. We learned interesting things about Kentucky, Frankfort, and the Kentucky River. Very flat smooth pontoon boat with an extremely quiet motor. They’re even dog friendly!

This was a fun experience. History provided was both informative and entertaining. Ale-8 and bourbon ball was a nice touch.
