The staff of Viator was very friendly. However, at times it was difficult to understand them on the phone due to such heavy foreign accents. I was disappointed to learn that although they advertise that on the Bourbon Trail Tour that one can add a side trip to visit one or two additional distilleries, when I requested to add one of these additional side trips, I was first told that it was available and then I was told that it that this option wasn't available. The website does not have a disclaimer of "based on ticket availability" or any other disclaimer. It was most disappointing. One other concern regarding the tour was the skills and abilities of our driver, Juan. Juan was a very nice and polite man, but his driving skills left me feeling very anxious about our trip. He consistently drove 55 mph in a 70 mph zone, and he would slow down almost to a stop on the highway. He was always driving in the far left lane - the "high speed" lane, while driving at least 15 mph slower than the rest of the traffic. Other cars were driving by us at what seemed like very high speeds as they passed . This caused a very dangerous situation. Our driver never moved over to a slower paced lane, as is the law to do so. The time of the trip ended up being over two hours long - and it should have been able to be completed in a much shorter amount of time had he been driving in accordance with the posted speed limits. The day of our tour, there was a "Bourbon Trail Run" that left from downtown Louisville and also from many of the distilleries. The Viator staff and Juan seemed to have no knowledge of these events and this caused our initial pickup to be late and it also caused us to be behind at other distilleries we visited. The staff should have been aware of any/all local activities that might interfere with our "Bourbon Trail Tour." Although I realize that the Chevy Traverse that we were riding in was not a new car, it did not seem to be well-maintained. The suspension was not very good and there were many rattles and other sounds that made me question if the vehicle was up to going on a trip like the one we were on. I was grateful that we returned safely. Two older gentlemen were on the tour with us. One of them had some difficulty in walking and keeping up with the group. I had to notify Juan (our tour leader) to please slow down so this man would not end up too far behind us. Juan should have been aware and been watching for these types of things.

Thanks for your comment, it helps us to constantly improve. Note: You have called Tripadvisor and not the operator (us). Additionally, we monitor the vehicles through integrated systems and the final results is that we have always respected the traffic rules and the cars are news

Had a great experience with Marjorie and our little group on the bourbon tour. Tour guide arrived on time, and even added on a fourth distillery at the end for a quick cocktail! Our group was a lot of fun! Highly recommend!
