The Grand Jubilee was simply fantastic from start to finish. New South Quartet, Jackie Brown, & the Rhinestone Mafia as back-up instrumentalists were tight, with nary a one either lagging & jumping ahead of the others, & Jim Dandy mixed in good downhome comedy & finished with a demo of his multi-talented musicianship. If you like classic C&W, rock, pop, & gospel, then you will enjoy the Jubilee. Given that it's the off-season, the auditorium only appeared to be 20-25% occupied with 90% of the audience in their mid 60s (like my wife & I) & older, so classic modern music was the right ticket; & even with what must have been a small audience to these performers, they still cut loose with a 100% effort; these pros haven't let their talent go to their heads by holding back for little groups, & they frequently pulled the old folks into their performance (clapping & singing along), which I really liked, especially being on the second row. Mind you, they all were excellent without exception, & you can look up their names online, but let me cite (a) Mark "how low can you go", a tremendous bass vocalist, & (b) Wayne outstanding on fiddle ("the devil won't come out of Georgia to challenge you!). Sound engineering & equalizing, light show, & foggy special effects were great, so I tip my hat to the folks off-stage. These may not be headline superstars, but they are all top-notch entertainers nonetheless.

Off season simply means a more intimate experience. The Grand Jubilee was awesome and the New South Quartet was outstanding. We enjoyed all the show at the Grand Country Theater immensely and will definitely come back!
