What a great experience for us and our 9 and 12 year old kids! We started with the treasure hunt, and our guide Bridges was outstanding -- very in character, lots of additional interesting information, and a great attitude overall. The treasure hunt was a lot of fun, particularly for our 9-year-old. We then moved on to panning for gold, which fascinated our 12-year-old. After finding some gold flakes, he insisted on staying longer! The mine tour was also interesting, and our guide Brandon was quite knowledgeable about the mine construction, the minerals mined, and the local history. Overall, a very enjoyable and educational afternoon. Highly recommended.

What a fun family time at the Country Boy Mine. Registering and signup online was easy and the online waiver signing made it super easy to arrive and be ready to go. Instructions to get there were simple and easy. The staff were all outstanding and our kids had a blast. The treasure Hunt was a lot of fun and they help you as much as you need. Definitely recommend staying afterward or beforehand to do some gold panning. Our kids stayed as long as they could until they got hungry for lunch otherwise we might have been there all day. For perspective our kids were aged 10,7, and 4. Highly recommend for some summer fun when in Breck!

We had a fun adventure searching for treasure. Our (nearly to actually teenage) kids enjoyed the gold panning way more than we expected. Definitely worth the time to visit. So glad we did this.
