Laid back family atmosphere. We completed the treasure hunt and the mine tour with panning for gold. The treasure hunt was too difficult and we had our own guide that would give us some clues if needed. It wasn't as changeling as some escape rooms I have done but it was just a great family activity that we all got to spend time together, have a good laugh, and find treasure. My kids were 22 and her 23 yo husband, 16, and 14. We would definitely do it again.
The mine tour was very interesting and we learned a lot about what it was like mining for gold back in the days. The mine is very cold and wet but they provide jackets and hard hats. Panning for gold afterwards was just relaxing and an overall great time.
The only thing I would advise is bring your own drinks and food. The little shop only has water ($1 a bottle) and no snacks. I would highly recommend them adding some small snack items. I am sure people would definitely love having snacks on site.

We are really happy when we can give our guests a fun day out - and it means a lot to all of us that you took the time to leave us such a lovely review. We would love to offer food, but at the moment don't have permission from the county to do so - hopefully soon!
