What To Expect

Breckenridge

This is a walking tour of historic downtown Breckenridge, making outdoor stops at many locations, telling stories of our dark past. We will start at the south end of town and make approximately 7 stops on the way, finishing at the north end of town at the old Brown Hotel. We use ghost/spirit hunting equipment in our search for the energy that remains. Please dress warmly for this outdoor tour.

The guide knew so much of the history of Breckenridge, and was also a very good storyteller. That is what I enjoyed most. The parts I found disappointing were not being able to go inside any buildings and trying to look at photos the guide passed around that supposedly showed orbs and apparitions. They were very hard to see, especially as it got darker. We just had to take her word for it that these were photos of what she claimed.

I am so glad to hear you enjoyed my stories! During the Covid epidemic buildings were closed for entry and unfortunately since then there have been many changes in town which have prevented me going inside, e.g. quantity of guests, and change of ownership. My photos have been blown up from cell phone images I have received from guests and have all been taken at night. I always advise guests to use their own cell phone flashlights to get a better look at the images. My photos have always been popular with guests!

My daughter and I had a great time on the tour last night! The group was eight people and we all seemed to enjoy the experience. Gail is engaging, knowledgeable and friendly. If you like learning history with a little spookiness, you will love this tour!
