What To Expect

Breckenridge

This is a walking tour of historic downtown Breckenridge, making outdoor stops at many locations, telling stories of our dark past. We will start at the south end of town and make approximately 7 stops on the way, finishing at the north end of town at the old Brown Hotel. We use ghost/spirit hunting equipment in our search for the energy that remains. Please dress warmly for this outdoor tour.

My family (including two teens) was so pleased with Gail's historical, ghost-themed walking tour. The tour allowed us to learn about the people of Breckenridge--from miners to madames to merchants--in a fun format. Gail is talented and professional. She came wearing a vintage velvet coat, and she tells her stories in a compelling and personable way. When my kids visit Breck (and anywhere in the world), I want them to think about "Who and what was here before?" Gail's tour helped them to visualize some of the people and places of Breck in the late 19th and early 20th century.

My family really enjoyed this tour. I have 16 year old twins and they were engaged and entertained the entire time. Gail is a wonderful story teller and very knowledgeable of Breckenridge history. We loved her personal stories of interactions with ghosts on the properties we visited.

The 6 of us had a great time! There were 4 adults and 2 young kids. They loved it! Our guide, Gail, was very good! Obviously enjoys what she does and is quite knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour!
