What To Expect

Brooklyn Heights

We just touch on the southern end of this historic neighborhood and get a sense of how locals shop in the numerous ethnic and immigrant-owned bakeries and restaurants.

Brooklyn Bridge

To start your tour, we’ll make our way up onto this New York City icon for incredible views of Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Hudson River below (but don’t worry, we’re not walking the whole thing). You won’t want to miss this photo-opp!

Manhattan Bridge

Underneath another of New York’s incredible bridges is the DUMBO Archway. This plaza has recently become a popular public space - hosting public art, festivals, and other community gatherings throughout the year. You’ll enjoy views of the soaring bridge above you.

Dumbo

Throughout your foodie tour, your guide will educate you on the vibrant history of the neighborhoods you’ll be exploring - including DUMBO! This area of Brooklyn is renowned for its art community (who have revitalized the neighborhood in recent years) and it’s high quality food scene! While you taste your way through Brooklyn, you’ll learn all about how the businesses here came to be and how they have formed the lively culture of this area.

My tour guide, Brian, is very friendly, resourceful and knowledgeable about the area and passionate about food! I love the whole experience - eating local food, listening to some interesting stories about local people and walking up to the Brooklyn Bridge. I would recommend this experience to anyone new to Brooklyn! Definitely 5* experience!

Easy to find the meeting point, accessible from downtown Manhattan. Hannah was a great guide, full of energy and information. Very friendly and did a great job. We had so much great food, definitely come with an appetite! Very accommodating to me being vegetarian and I didn't have to miss out on any of the 7 local stops. Definitely recommend to anyone in NYC, local or visiting because we were shown a lot of places I would not have known to visit by myself. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience :) Also thanks to Hannah for taking such great photos for me!

Five stars for Hannah our guide! Hanna was a wealth of knowledge and delightfully entertaining. We learned a lot about Brooklyn, DUMBO and the amazing Brooklyn Bridge. The food: lots of it, you won’t be hungry. No super interesting stories behind any of the food, it was good for the most part. Bagels, breakfast sandwich, fried pickles, empanadas, pizza (not great pizza) And yummy ice cream. Might be a good idea to spread out the timing of the food more evenly. Four of the last stops were back-to-back, all in the span of 30 min. Thank you to Hannah was absolutely lovely he star of the show!
