Eric was great, very friendly and enthusiastic, but the tour was supposed to be a food tasting tour and it focussed a great deal on architecture. Also, we had to hang around waiting for late people for far too long before we were given any food - at least 40 minutes. We kept telling him that we were ravenous, having not eaten since our flight the previous night. He could have responded better. Two of the food items were really similar - egg bagel and then an hour later, cream cheese bagel. It wasn’t the best. In the end we were given bagels, ice cream, chocolate, pizza, fried pickles and empanadas. It was an enjoyable experience. But don’t pander to late people so much, to the detriment of those who showed up on time.

Hello,
Thank you for your honesty and your thorough review. We always aim to ensure that every guest is happy with their tour experience as well as enjoying the food and the history shared.
First, I apologize about the tour beginning late and will ask about this with the guide. We do want to make sure folks are fed fairly quickly when showing up for a food tour.
We at WeVenture aim to provide specific stories with our tours that are enhanced by various aspects such as food, architecture, and history. And with this tour, we have the food tell the story of the great local establishments that have arisen in Brooklyn Heights/Dumbo in the last 20 years. The first item is supposed to be served on a kaiser roll to provide some differentiation--apologies that the shop may have run out on that day. Glad you had an enjoyable experience and enjoyed the food and sights!
