We had a fantastic knowledgeable guide. This is the only way to learn about the history of the Bridge and the Dumbo (Down Under Manhattan Bridge Overpass) area. Would highly recommend.

Walking across the Brooklyn Bridge is amazing and beautiful, period. But doing so with our Inside Out Tour Guide really added so much depth and meaning to the experience, and was 110% worth what we paid. We booked our tour ahead of time for July 3 and received back easy to understand where/when etc. directions right away. On July 3, our guide was on-time, super-prepared, smart, easy to hear and understand, interesting, well-informed, and well-educated (a “Brooklynite,” I think - darn, though, I forget his name!). His narration not only told the story of the Bridge and DUMBO area but also about the wider history of New York as it related. In addition, he gave excellent suggestions for restaurants, shopping, and routes back to Midtown for visitors staying there. (An excellent tip: take the NYC ferry for $2.75 per person - yep, you read that right - up the East River, in uncrowded comfort, with all the same gorgeous skyline and bridge views you get from much more expensive boat tours, and you can even buy drinks!)

Thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour. Kevin was an excellent guide. Great storyteller. Historical and anecdotal. Very engaging and fun. Highly recommend!
