We booked the tour in advance which I would recommend. The instructions on the meeting point were good so we found it easy enough. However, if this is your first trip to New York, make sure you build in enough time to get to the meeting point on time (for all tours, not just this one). The tour guide arrived at the meeting point in good time, checked our tickets, pointed out a convenient toilet to use prior to commencing the tour as there wasn't one during the tour. Our guide, Sean, was a great tour guide. He gave us lots of information as we walked across the Brooklyn Bridge and through the DUMBO district. The information he gave us was interesting and he was easy to listen to. We paused long enough at each point for us to hear what he had to say, and to take photos. The 2 hours went very quickly, and if we'd not taken the tour, we certainly wouldn't have got as much out of simply walking across the bridge and wandering about in Brooklyn ourselves. I would recommend this tour.

A fascinating tour across the bridge and around Dumbo....over 2 hours walking but in New York that's fairly standard! The guide was brilliant and the tour flew by too quickly! Got some amazing photographs too!
