This was my 6th NY Photo Safari. This time I did the Brooklyn Bridge safari. Most of the photo safaris would be suitable for all levels of photography including cell phones and in fact on all but 2 of the safaris I've done, we have had all assorted types of cameras.
Instructor Zim is great. She will give you an "assignment" ie. shoot this particular scene and then tell you how to improve upon what you shot. She will explain why something works or why it does not and spreads herself among all the participants to view everyone's photos for personal critique. The emphasis is on composition to allow the trips to be accessible to to all levels of photography. You will come away with a better understanding of how to improve your photos; concepts to think about that can be applied to any photos you take going forward.
If you want to learn about how you can take more interesting photographs, then go ahead and sign up for a New York City Photo Safari!
