Zim was a great teacher and took the time to get to know what I was interested in learning and seeing. She has a great attitude and an immense amount of knowledge that she was willing to share. I learned a lot about my camera, framing pictures and the history of lower NYC. I have already registered for another class with her!

My friend and I had the pleasure of taking Zim's tour of the Brooklyn Bridge. Zim started by getting to know us a bit and casually assessed our photography experience. As we walked towards the bridge, she gave us a few pointers, about exposure and focusing. I'm an amateur photographer, but no stranger to SLR cameras and lenses. Despite my experience, Zim helped me with a focusing tip with my lens I've never seen before. We were off to a great start! On the tour, Zim helped us get unique pictures of the bridge and scenes visible from the bridge. She was helpful and patient and it made for a wonderful morning. We are super happy with our pics! Although this is my first review for Zim, we actually took her Times Square night photography class a few years ago. She was awesome with that tour too. If you like taking pics, you wont be disappointed.

Energetic and knowledgeable with a just the right amount of attitude you will enjoy your time spent with Zim and walk away with more than a few amazing pic’s. I have taken several classes with Zim and have enjoyed them all. You will learn how to make your pictures more interesting and she will point out photo opportunities most people miss. Be prepared to keep shooting until you get it just right!
