We only had a lesson booked, no walking tour. We were dropped off by Uber in a quiet, isolated and somewhat sketchy neighborhood as it was getting dark. We didnāt see any signs, guide or classmates gathered. Then we noticed the āGraff Toursā designation over the inconspicuous door and let ourselves in. Building seemed dimly lit and then we were unexpectedly greeted by the teacher, an original graffiti artist from the late 60s/early 70s.
Studio was windowless, but cool with fully graffitiād walls and more spray paint cans than you could count! Due to covid, we were glad to have had masks for the painting. We enjoyed learning the techniques, and appreciated the disposable gloves provided and the personalized ātaggedā canvas we created to take home. For maximum enjoyment, I would best recommend this activity with a group (more than 2) and during the day.
