The was an awesome experience for my college students. I teach in a Hip Hop and Social Justice Program at the University of San Francisco. We booked the Bushwick Graffiti Tour and Graffiti Workshop. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and provided a great introduction to many different forms of this street art. We learned about the history, techniques, types of graffiti. We also took the Graffiti Workshop. This workshop provides an introduction to the mechanics of graffiti. After a brief introduction, the students were allowed to practice handling the can making different types of lines with the spray paint. Then the students worked with the local artist to develop a theme for a piece. From there, he worked with them to create their very own group piece. From making accommodating our large group, to adding folks at the last minute, Graff Tours was easy to work with and the program was seamless. Big Thanks to All!! The Whole EMDS cru

It was a fun activity to do in Brooklyn. We were given very straight forward instructions on how the graffiti will be made. The instructor helps us in every way and the best part is that we can take our work home.

I booked an group workshop in Brooklyn, but had a ā€žprivate lessonā€œ because I was the only one, that joined. It was so inspiring and amazing! The workshop was given by Staff 161, one of the first graffiti artists from NY! It was all about handling the can and at the end of the workshop, I could take my own graffiti with me (on canvas).
