I have literally had cycling tour guides around the world and John (the owner) and Brooklyn Giro are at the top of the list! Three days of touring, which included a private custom tour and John even allowed me to take a bike for the TD FiveBoro event! John is not afraid to think out of the box ā€“ he will take you to off-the-beaten-path places if you are willing and want to go (or even suggest them). Two ā€œregularā€ tours ā€“ Brooklyn with John and Manhattan with Tom. On the Manhattan tour, there was a couple who took the Brooklyn tour with John a year earlier. The best form is testimony is repeat customers and I will certainly be one of them! Thanks John for a great NY experience!

This bike ride was disappointing. According to the reservation it was 4 and half hours, but after 3 hours we were 'done'. According to the guide Seth, that was because we came from the Netherlands and cycle so fast. That was not true at all, because he was leading the way. I also missed Williamsburg in the tour, which I had been looking forward to. The guide indicated that it was because he would do Williamsburg with 2 from the group. The had the full day! Another hour! Real disappointing and not worth your money.

You were not booked on a tour that goes into Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Brooklyn is a massive place with 60+ neighborhoods. Please read our tour descriptions. Your friend was too exhausted to continue with the next group that headed into North Brooklyn which includes Williamsburg and Seth offered to take you with them. You declined. You booked our Brooklyn Tour which is a tour of the original city of a Brooklyn, our hone, before Brooklyn was incorporated in the 1830s. While Williamsburg is fun and a trendy part of Brooklyn that has been developing since 2005 zoning law changes, we donā€™t see that on the tour you booked. We offer 9 different tours currently, some of which arenā€™t even listed. As avid cyclists weā€™d love to say we could simply take you all over Brooklyn, but thatā€™s not doable.

Excellent tour! Met our expectations and more. Tour guide was great, very informative, plus super patient when we wanted to stop for whiskey at Widow Jane. Would 120% do another tour with Brooklyn Giro the next time we're in Brooklyn! Also, if you're a regular rider, the hybrid Cannondales were fantastic; in very good shape and absolutely perfect for riding around Brooklyn - you won't want to go back to Citi Bikes afterwards! Highly recommend.
