It was bitter cold and our tour guide did awesome under the conditions. She was knowledgeable and very informative.

My friend and I did not get a 30 minute tour. English is not our guide’s first language and it was very difficult to understand him. He pointed out a few buildings along the way to the ferry. I thought I had purchased entrance into the pedestal and realized I hadn’t when I tried to enter. It is best to purchase your visit through the park service. Lesson learned.

The staff were fine. I just don't see the value in the ticket. We weren't permitted to go inside the statue. You can easily buy a ferry ticket for $31 online and enjoy the museum and sights without a tour guide. All the historical information is provided by the museum and their short film.
