Gaslamp Quarter

The Brothels, Bites and Booze tour will introduce you to the beginnings of San Diego as a port town – learn why it became one of the more notorious red light districts of its time, and find out how this once-undesired neighborhood became a fun and vibrant nightlife destination for both locals and visitors. After meeting your guide, you’ll embark on a journey of scandalous tales, unique cocktails and local cuisine. On the tour, you’ll make new friends, hear interesting stories, sing karaoke and explore new tastes at local restaurants*.

Marissa was wonderful, well knowledge with San Diego downtown history. Marissa kept group entertained, moved group along to next meeting area.

$225 down the drain. Arrived at the time in the schedule but unable to find a group of people on the tour. Tried to find the group based on those restaurants that the site shows as "endorsed businesses" and we had no luck finding them. There was no phone number associated with the experience to call for support. Needless to say we were unable to participate in the event nor was there anyone to get support from

I am very sorry to hear that you were not able to find the group for this tour. If you had reached out to us via Viator Messenger (or the phone number on our website) we would have given you the location(s) to meet the group. This was a full tour with 15 guests registered and the other 12 guests (10 of which booked through Viator) had no issue finding the starting location and our guide. The tour was at the starting location longer than normal (the tour didn't leave until about 5:40 pm) due to another group running a few minutes behind so unless you were later than that I am not sure what happened. If you would like to reach out to us directly we can book you on another tour date/time that works for your group.
