So this was a great 2hrs spent getting to know the history of the Gaslamp district. Our guide, Amanda, was incredible! Her knowledge and way in which she shared the stories of the past was so great! The places we stopped at for food and drink were delicious, it was great to experience such a variety on this trip. The restaurants and bars were set up well ready to accommodate our group. The trip flowed so nicely. Amanda was also very kind in sharing tips for where to go after. Loved learning about this area, highly recommend!

Thank you for the great review! Amanda is awesome, and since she lives in the area, she's the best for tips on things to do in the Gaslamp. Glad you had a great time!

Stephan was energetic, fun, and personable. He had sufficient knowledge on the brothels of San Diego. The first restaurant was great. The other two were, well, lousy. One was an empty dive bar, which if the fish taco had been good, who cares. But it wasn’t. The next was an Irish Pub. They served us a tiny dish of salty Shepard’s Pie. I enjoyed the people and the talk. I was disappointed in the “bites”.

I'm super bummed that you found the food options on this tour as "lousy". It's super frustrating for us because we know that our partnered restaurants have good food, and especially on a food tour, you want the food to be delicious. I'm sure you were frustrated, too. I appreciate the feedback, and I'm going to see what happened here. I'm sure Stefan can give me some insight, too. Thank you for joining us, and I promise that the next time you come, I'll make sure the food is improved. -Bianca
