We scheduled our tour at 5:30 pm. It was a Thursday and we ordered an Uber for transportation - we were almost late due to ride share option with Uber. NOTE: if you are on a time line, do not share rides, they can take forever! We got there just in time and our lovely guide was gracious enough to wait the few minutes. Katie was really good at story telling and even scared off the homeless people who begged us for money! We ate great food, drank some really cool drinks and drifted down the lovely streets of San Diego. I would do this again! Thanks Katie!!!

Stephon, our guide, was a very interesting and entertaining fellow, who had a great grasp of the history part of this attraction. He was very adept at keeping the party moving from venue to venue. The food choices could have been better. The first "bite" was a Greek tapa and with Greek sangria. It was the best of the evening. After that, it went downhill. The last "bite" was a dive pizza joint with beer served in plastic cups. With the plethora of restaurants and brew pubs in San Diego, there had to be better options. Dessert at a French pastry shop did rescue the evening a bit.

Admittedly we were late arriving for the tour due to unforeseen circumstances. When we arrived, the tour guide met us at the stairs of the restaurant and basically told us we were too late to join the group, that it would be 2 hours of walking. We felt since this was their first stop for the tour, we should have been invited to join on on the rest of the tour or at least offered some options. Very unwelcoming! We don't recommend.

Hello there. I’m sorry you felt that Stefan was unwelcoming. After speaking to him, it seemed that he called to get an update on where you were when he didn’t see you at the starting location, but there was no answer. Then he mentioned that you arrived almost an hour later after texting you where the first restaurant was. When you arrived to the first restaurant, the group of 10ppl was already running behind because they were waiting for you. When he said that they had to leave to go to the second stop, you insisted that your husband needed to sit. He invited you to come to the second restaurant and have a seat there with the group, and that’s when you insisted you wouldn’t continue on the tour. He mentioned feeling very bad about the situation. We have never had a situation like this happen, and Stefan has been an incredible guide for many years. If something else other than this happened, please call me to discuss. -Bianca (619)233-8687
