What a beautiful trip! The canyon itself is breathtaking even if you are just gently floating. The fun ride on the rapids enhances the experience tremendously. For me, the degree of difficulty (class 3) was just perfect---keeping in mind that it can vary depending on the day/time of year. The staff was professional, fun, helpful and most importantly kept safety at the forefront of the experience.

Excellent 1/2 day trip down the Arkansas. Our guide Paul was kick ass! Very experienced guide who knew how to hit each rapid . Our boat felt lucky to have him as our guide . Our group consisted of everyone over 55 so we were probably more aware of the dangers that rafting can impose . Not once did I feel scared or anxious . Paul knew the way each rapid would hit and he guided us gently down the beautiful river . He pointed out funny rock formations and wildlife . Some of the rock formations need a great imagination to see the nicknames. I didn’t need a wetsuit , but my husband in the front row , got pretty drenched and he was cold . This is a well run outfit . The leader Ted was funny but very professional . If you like a well oiled rafting group - this is your one stop. Great group of leaders .

Our family group of 8, ranging from 12 to 74 years, had a fabulous experience right from the get-go. The River Runners crew greeted us as we entered the property; staff efficiently checked us in and hooked us up with equipment for our trip. Safety instructions were clear and easy to follow before getting in the raft. Our guide, Mark, exceeded all expectations by being in charge yet friendly, amusing and informative. He quickly assessed our group and provided instructions clearly, demonstrating his ability to be effectively in command. Mark anticipated challenges on the river, masterfully positioned the raft and engaged each of us, all making for a fabulous and memorable river experience. Clearly safety was priority one while providing an excellent experience was a close second. The on-site cafe offered a good selection of food and beverages in an informal setting for a delicious ending and a great spot to relive the experience. We would do this again in a heartbeat.
