Browns Canyon on the Arkansas River is our most popular trip! The unique combination of lots of exciting whitewater, spectacular canyon scenery, great mountain views of some of Colorado’s highest mountains and opportunities to spot wildlife make this the ideal raft trip. Exciting enough for seasoned paddlers, but not too scary for first-timers. You will want to bring your friends and family for epic rapids such as Pinball, Zoom Flume, and Big Drop!

Browns Canyon is a perfect route for a rafting trip. It starts out fairly mellow so that your crew can get the hang of following the guide's instructions. Then you get to the class 3 rapids and it is a blast! Our guide Shayna and the rest of the Adventure Company crew were all awesome! The ride on the bus from their location near Buena Vista was only about 10 minutes to the start and only about 20 minutes on the return. That means most of your time is spent on the gorgeous river, which is where it should be spent.

This was my first time white water rafting, and I enjoyed every minute of it even though Mother Nature had other plans. Bekah was an outstanding guide, which made the experience even better. Looking forward to coming back to TAC for round 2!
