Connor was awesome, great guide, had a lot of fun on the river and he answered all our questions and made us feel safe.

Went rafting on Friday with Wilderness Aware - everything went great from booking online, filling out all releases online, to checking in, getting gear, transportation to river, and the fun part - rafting. Our guide, Michael aka 'Lorax" was awesome. Just to tell you how awesome he was, I'm sitting here 3 days later listening to my 14 year old teen boy tell his friends while playing xbox just how great this guy was. We all know how hard it is to impress teen boys!!! Given that there's always slow times while whitewater rafting (can't be all crazy rapids), having a guide who chats with you and has a great sense of humor is key to a fun trip. We had ages 57 (me!) to 14 in our group of 7 and all had a fun time. Thanks for a great trip, Michael/Lorax. :)

Running the rapids was exhilarating, and our guide, Gatlin, made sure all aspects of this trip surpassed our already-high expectations. From clear training, to direction and navigation of the raft, to stories about the river, the "Gun" (our guide was so cool we had to give him a proper call-sign) was tremendous. This was the first trip for my three boys (19, 20, 21) and a great experience. We'll definitely be back to take our rafting experience to the next level.... to run the "Numbers"! Thanks again to the Gun and Wilderness Aware Rafting!
