The staff at Wilderness Adventure Rafting was very knowledgeable and friendly. The check in process was efficient and easy. Our guide, Justin, was excellent. Cannot say enough of how he made our day fun and exciting. Very friendly and enthusiastic, clearly an experienced guide. He shared lots of interesting information during the rafting trip. Was a good talker and did a great job of encouraging the people in our raft to ask questions and talk to each other, which made the trip enjoyable. The company was very thorough with their safety talk and made us feel prepared to hit the river. Justin was great at guiding us through the rapids with plenty of action but still feeling safe, even when my son almost was swept out of the raft. Having a small group of only 2 boats and getting out on the river quickly before the other companies could get going meant we had the whole river to ourselves. Would highly recommend this company and will definitely use again if we return to this area to raft in the future.

This was our first time white water rafting. Our guide, Colton, was absolutely amazing!! He was so great with instruction. Just a really great guy! You can really tell he enjoys what he does. I have a feeling that almost every guide at this outfitter is great. Everyone was so helpful! My daughter, 15 and myself, 43, had a great time. This is a great experience. If you are apprehensive about being able to do this trip, don’t be. So great, especially for beginners. We wore Columbia fishing shirts and leggings. It was perfect. My daughter wore Chacos and I wore Merrill water shoes. Both worked great. This company does all kinds of trips… even a few day trip with meals and camping equipment. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you for a wonderful first time white water rafting!!

We chose Wilderness Aware due to fantastic reviews here, and we were NOT disappointed. I was a little anxious about the experience, and we were reassured by the professionalism on our phone call asking questions. Upon arrival to the very modern facility (which includes a shop if you've forgotten anything, and a changing room), check in and equipment rental was very easy. Tony was by far the most knowledgeable guide of anything I've experienced just about anywhere. He knows every inch of that river and how to guide a group through safely. He also set up a beautiful lunch! We chose Brown's Canyon vs the Numbers, unsure how we would feel with the rapids, and in retrospect, probably would have enjoyed the thrill of a faster river, but have no regrets about our beautiful day and the extraordinary experience Tony provided for us.
