Great first time rafting experience with Wilderness Aware. Our guide, Jake was a pro in all ways. His commands were easy to follow, and he knew the Arkansas River very well. He was a very knowledgeable guide, and made the experience very interesting and exciting. I would highly recommend the entire experience to anyone, rather novice or pro!

I don't think we could have asked for a better first white water rafting experience. My boyfriend and I signed up for the Browns Canyon Half Day trip. Our guide was Gatlin, and as a bonus, we also had Jeff tag along. A "most excellent" duo. Gatlin was very knowledgeable and led our crew safely down the river, avoiding rocks and probably worst of all, other people. We also had a gentleman on our trip who used to be a guide (shout-out to Steve and his lovely wife, Nadine). Not only did we get to take in fun rock formations and paddle down the river, we got to hear a lot of amazing travel and guide stories. It's the kind of experience that sets you spinning, both figuratively and literally. It feels almost painful to return to the drudgery of the 9-5 office life in the flat Midwest after such an experience. But I digress. Amazing job guys!

It was a beautiful day. Our guide was Coaltrain. He was excellent and informative. He had a good command of the boat, and was a lot of fun. Did a 360, and some surfing under a rock. The lunch was very well thought out. A great sandwich, and sides. I will definitely recommend this trip and your company. Thank you, Gloria Thomas
