Very disappointing! Had not been in a couple of years. So sad to see the park being destroyed. The traditional Busch gardens tree is gone from entrance. All of the rides in front of park were not running. We were told possibly not running at all that day! All bird aviaries were closed all day. Kangaroos were closed. All rides were shut down most of day because of rain (not their fault), longer than needed usually. The trains weren’t running. The sky ride, we were told by two different employees is gone but it is on all maps and signs? So there is no transportation across park, bad for elderly. The children’s play areas were all closed. Some said closed for refurbishment, why in the middle of tourist season? The food was not good. The Asian food was awful. At Two different stands the fries were cold. The pulled pork was mushy. Desserts were terrible packaged objects. Only dessert not packaged was a nasty cheese cake with runny red drizzle. Not a pleasant day and many destroyed memories. Had been going to Busch garden since the mid 1960’s. Not sure we’ll ever go back.

The “Spark” Fireworks show was amazing! I think it is only during summer nights which is just for another week or so. Go see it! Only negative I have is lower the Beer prices. Almost 10 bucks is too much. It’s Busch Gardens, it used to be partially free. Even airplanes don’t charge as much.

What an absolute rip off! Took my grandchildren after about a five year absence. Park was always wonderful but not anymore. Don't know who manages now but if I was member of Busch family I would be ashamed and embarrassed. Rides closed, restaurants closed, and grossly understaffed. Park is filthy and in need of major maintenance. I understand the difficulty in getting staff but if that is the case than management (if they have any) needs to limit attendance to what can provide a level of service that meets at least a reasonable minimum standard. They ran out of food at places we visited after waiting in long lines for over 30 minutes. Ride lines are hours long or closed. Paid for preferred parking which was full when we arrived at 10:15. AM. Waited until we were leaving to seek refund. Figured I'll approach guest services at end of day in attempt to get on rides. They refunded difference with Busch bucks! What do you do with them when you are leaving? This is a MANAGEMENT PROBLEM as the kids working there are trying but obviously not well trained and grossly understaffed. I visited this park in the 80's,90's, and 2000's and it was a wonderful experience. Do Not waste your money. If you like animals go to Lowry Park Zoo and save a bunch of money and have a place to eat that actually has food.
