Busch Gardens has always been my favorite over all other amusement parks. I was so disappointed this last trip I will never go back. There were only two shows, many rides shut down and not many restaurants open. The wait for those things that were open was ridiculous! If you are planning a visit here I would not go now

I was shocked to be charged $85.00 for an ECV rental!! This is $30 more than Disney or Universal. Will think twice about going back.

We booked a trip online to go to Busch Garden specifically to do the sloth encounter for my birthday. When we printed our tickets, they included the park entry and the quick passes that we purchases. The detailed receipt did not include the time of the sloth encounter only the purchase of such. There are only two sloth encounter time slots. We sought out the location in the park that had "Animal Encounters". Walked through and could not find one park attendant. Finally we saw a park employee with a food cart coming through and asked her where to be. She advised us to be back at that location at the time of encounter. We rode some rides and came back and checked in at the Serengeti Ride. It was 2:48 pm. We told them we were there for the sloth encounter at 3:30. He told us we could sit in the tent or could get a drink or bite at the place next door and be back at 3:15pm. We got an ice cream and sat outside and waiting and went back into the tent at the time. We sat and sat and kept asking the attendants when the sloth attendant would be getting us as it was past the time of the encounter. Between the two couples we asked at least 7 attendants. At 3:45 we were advised that the sloth encounter was not at 3:30 but at 3:00 pm and that we had missed it. Needless to say, the disappointment we felt was horrific. Again there are only two time slots for a sloth encounter. At no point and time did an attendant ask our name and check to see what encounter we were signed up for and we were there at the tent at 2:48. We made every effort to be at the right place at the right time. The lack of customer service at the park was beyond terrible. They did end up refunding our money but that was not the point. The point was that that was the reason for our visit. As they do not give you a ticket to print with you time and the detailed billing print out for the encounter does not give you your time, at a minimum when you get to the tent to inquire, someone should ask your name and verify for you when you are scheduled and give you the check-in information especially if you are making the effort to be at the correct location. Again we made two seperate efforts to inquire as to when and where we were supposed to be for the encounter. The park severely fails in this regard. My second complaint is that when we entered the park we purchased the picture package. They gave us a card and informed us that we could view the pictures after each ride and get the attendant to scan our card. We were told if there was not an attendant there to make sure we kept the time we were on that ride and to come back and they could find them for us. Well needless to say there was only ONE ride that had a person at the end where you could scan your card. On a positive note - the roller coasters were amazing but I doubt we will return to this park due to the lack of customer care.
