As a Floridian, Iā€™ve been going to Busch gardens my whole life, and I stand by Busch Gardens Tampa Bay being the best theme park experience Florida has to offer at the best price. Ticket prices are totally fair considering what youā€™re getting, and in-park prices on food, merch, and beverages is always very reasonable. Staff is always diverse and friendly, there is clearly a strong push by staff to maintain safety of the rides. Wait times are always fairly reasonable. Iron Gwazi as the most recent addition is utterly terrifying, so great! There is also an app that you can use to navigate the park and book additional services and animal meets. Best animal experience (for free): petting the kangaroos. Best rides: Cobraā€™s Curse (family friendly), Tigris (totally out of this world), and Iron Gwazi (as mentioned, totally terrifying). Best food: Dragonfire Grill has a wide range of meals (cafeteria style) from burgers to pizza and Chinese. Eating 2 full meals with a side and 2 drinks was under $35 for me as a gold pass member. Lots of water and beverages peppered through out the park, because it gets hot!

1. All the bird exhibits were closed due to "wild bird avian flu". 2. Other exhibits were also closed like the komodo dragons, hyenas, clydesdales, etc. 3. Show venues were closed , like stanleyville theater 4. Many minor ADA accessibility violations 5. More thrill rides

Beautifully themed with large selection of coasters. (Iron Gwazi and Cheetah Hunt were the standouts). The park is huge, with twisting pathways and different animal exhibits, including a "safari" which the train takes you around. I liked that some of the animal exhibits had glass windows were the animals could come right up to you. Since the park is so big, it can get tiring backtracking and crossing the park to reach different rides. I went when it was slow, so crowds were light and waits for rides were quite manageable. However, some of the coasters only had 1 train running, so even with few people in line it could move slowly. From my vantage point on one of the coasters, it looked like there was TONS of empty parking; I don't want to even imagine this park at capacity. Even on a slow day, waits for Iron Gwazie went up to 60 minutes and Cheetah Hunt got up to 45. Part of this, I suspect, was they were not running coasters at capacity, but still...I would NOT recommend going when it's busy. There didn't seem the be many particularly interesting food options from what I saw (this seems to be an issue for the SeaWorld/Busch parks in general). Be prepared for boring park food (burgers, etc.) I thought it was a good park - just keep in mind if it's really crowded, it is definitely going to negatively impact your experience.
