Expensive place to walk aroundā€¦ Iā€™m no small fry letā€™s get that out of the way (Iā€™m broad and 100pounds overweight).I went on website first before getting tickets and it makes you think there will still be lots of rides you can go on -bs there is. They could post a size limit for rides online but I absolutely wasted my money as rides that would have worked were closed ie canyon water ride.. 90 degrees and water ride closed? Got our family the meal plan, one place closed at 5pm, we arrived 5:05 - out of luck.. food choices limited, to pay this amount of money for ā€œpizzaā€ which was flat bread with sauce and cheese was ridiculous. Want a beer? Look at those prices I would not pay more than a 12 pack costs for a single beer. Roller coasters are good my 13 year old liked them, the rest just sucked. Absolute waste of a day as far as Iā€™m concerned and would not return even if it was free. Canadas wonderland is 100x better.

Been to Busch Gardens before and usually always for the rollercoasters which are amazing. On this occasion though we did Animal experiences. Canā€™t speak highly enough if the staff. We initially had the Safari and the Sloth encounter booked. Sadly the sloth encounter was cancelled, however they were able to arrange for us to go on the Hippo Tour and meet the tortoises. The safari is amazing as you get to feed the giraffes. The tortoises was an amazing experience as well. Meeting the hippos and the keepers was incredible. The half hour was possibly the best of our two week holiday. The keepers were fantastic in teaching us and allowing us to get involved. Special thanks to Phil has as well for taking us round both.

Busch Gardens combines thrilling rides with a way to experience the exotic wildlife of Africa making for an entertaining day. The highlight of the park has to be the train ride that takes one along a faithful recreation of the Serengeti plain where a wide variety of African wildlife can be encountered. The park also offers a lot of opportunities to interact with wildlife experts at scheduled times during the days and offers some pretty nice shows included with admission. We enjoyed a very good ice skating show on the day of our visit. A Chick Fil A is located within the property and is part of the All Day Dining Pass which is worth the money if you'll be staying all day. The park does offer a very enjoyable experience, one IMO that is superior to the Disney Animal Kingdom offering at a far more reasonable price. The parking price of $30 was a disappointment.
