I did a VIP tour with Billy. It was just 2 of us but it never felt awkward and he kept the conversation going the whole time! He was very knowledgeable about all of the animals and the park. When we went into the animal safari tour, we feed giraffes and saw rhinos, antelope and zebras & more with another VIP tour group. We got to pet and feed kangaroos! We happened to see another great animal ambassador who let me pet a super cute echidna & alligator!! He held all of our belongings while we went on rides. When it was time to eat he made sure we had all of our food AND THEN went to get his food. All day free drinks, food, breakfast. Super customer service from every ambassador we came across. At the end we got extra passes for more front line of rides ! I will say you should get a quick queue if attending on the weekends. It was so many kids in all the lines. Definitely a theme park for teens. Almost ALL roller-coasters, which I loved. DO THE VIP <3

The Busch Gardens theme park overall experience was very good. The park is well maintained and there is a wide variety of animal exhibits and roller coasters. We had a bad experience when trying to find a good place to eat a late lunch. I was surprised that the dining options were very limited. Some were closed and the ones we saw needed some serious attention. The physical spaces were drab with poor lighting. poor food choices and with uninviting spaces. What surprised me the most is that we checked out four places and they were all that way. After walking half the park looking for what we thought would be a good place, we settled on the Dragon Fire Grill. That was a huge mistake. This restaurant is cafeteria style and the food choices were dismal but we though ok we're hungry so we ordered chicken tenders and fries, a turkey wrap and sodas. After paying $75.00 we couldn't eat the tenders they were hard and dry and the fries were cold. Now I'm not a picky eater and I don't mind paying theme park prices for quality food but come on Busch Gardens shame on you. You can and you should do better. Your guests deserve better. I am still stunned at the poor quality of our food experience and the ridiculous price we paid for it. We will not be returning any time soon. My only other observation was the condition of the public restrooms. The ones I used were dirty and in serious need of upgrades.

So disappointed. This was a going away trip we took with my Grandson (14). He is moving from Florida to Seattle soon, and we wanted to spend one last exciting week with him before he goes. Busch Gardens was our first stop! Directions are horrible from the moment you turn into the park. Wait times are as good as my dart throwing ability. Locker rental was a cluster. Took my money, but no locker. Three employees and a security guard later..we get sent to the gift shop, where we had to listen to the employee whine about not knowing anything about them, and the locker people never answer the phone. We just paid again, and thank goodness it worked. The park hours were (on their app) 10 to 10pm. At 5 pm we were informed by another customer, who by the way was NOT happy, that the park was closing at 6!!! No way, right. Yep, the customer was correct, due to low ticket sells they closed at 6pm. 4 hours earlier than their website said when I purchased my tickets. I listen to ALL kinda of announcements through out the day, never did I hear about the change in hours. Website also doesn't inform you that rides are NOT open. None of the water rides were open. Most of the vendor booths were closed. Asked someone if they were going to open, and never really could get an answer, some do, couple hours, and a shoulder shrug. The Roller Coasters were fabulous!! Can not say enough about the rides (that were open). But planned this trip as a Great send off for my Grandson, roller coasters in the dark, only to have the park close 4 hours earlier than the hours posted the day before. Turned our first day alittle sour. Here's hoping Universal doesn't let us down!!

We are so disappointed to see this experience with your grandson, and we apologize for any confusion regarding our operating hours during your visit. Our website always has our most up to date hours, and any updates to this schedule are made in advance except in the case of extreme weather. During this season, we are only open 10am to 10pm on Saturdays. We also apologize for this frustrating experience with our lockers during your visit.
