Busch Gardens is greatā¦ā¦. If you know when to go. If youāre a local and can go in the fall and winter when kids arenāt on vacation, itās a great deal. Buy one Bronze Pass for $153 for one adult. This will save you the $30 parking fee. Buy Fun Passes for everyone else as you only need one person with the Bronze Pass for free parking. And you can go every day of the year if you want to.
Avoid holidays and summers! The place is packed and you may spend all day dying in the heat and not riding due to crowds and lightning delays.
We are here today 12/27 and the place is a madhouse. 2 hour waits for all rides, hour long waits for food. Annoying people everywhere. But since we live 45 mins away, itās not a big deal. Plenty of animals and what not. I need the exercise anyway.
Always advise buying the refillable soda as refills are free day of purchase and 99cents for future refills when you come back. This can save you a lot of money.
The coasters are truly top notch. Canāt complain there. Just be careful as they do close them repairs and maintenance and until recently, much has been a shut down.
The food, well, itās overpriced garbage, but thatās normal for theme parks. We usually eat breakfast before we go and then go out for dinner after.
Iām reading a lot of negative reviews here lately. Bottom line. If youāre a local and know the inās and outās, youāll love it here.
If youāre a tourist and you come during holidays or the summer, youāre prob going to be super pissed off with what you get vs what you pay for.
