What To Expect

Ala Wai Canal

Cruise along the Ala Wai harbor and canal for approximately 45 minutes for 9AM to 4PM cruises and 1 hour for sunset evening cruises (5 pm to 7:15 pm)

Honolulu City Lights

See the Honolulu city skyline. Depending on weather conditions, spectacular rainbows may appear. Depending on time of sailing, experience an unforgettable sunset and the glistening lights of the city's skyline.

Diamond Head State Monument

From the comfort of your gondola, enjoy a breathtaking wide view of Diamond Head, the now-dormant volcanic landscape on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. Did you know that the British soldiers who visited the area in the 19th century thought that the sparkling calcite crystals on the neighboring beach were diamonds? This idea stuck and eventually gave rise to its current name.

After 30 years of coming to Honolulu, and now living here, I’ve been on many excursions. But this one will definitely go with the top of my list a Favorites! Everything about it was a joy from the beginning. Our guides Larry, Sean and Elliott were incredible and they made this more than excursion but an event I will never forget! I’d get this more than five stars if I could!

Horrible business! I booked on line, the booking was refused. I was called, offered a fabulous “upgrade” for $300 more. Shame on me, right? I should have seen it coming. Brackish water, bordering on toxic pollution. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. I’m out all my $, even having just booked 3 hours on the phone prior to wanting to cancel.

We would like to clarify that your reservation was never refused. We merely gave you the option, with no pressure to choose it, of being able to secure the whole vessel for a private experience instead of a shared experience, as there were other people who had, shortly before you contacted us, inquired about a cruise for the time you selected and were going to get back to us shortly. If they decided to book after you booked without the upgrade, you would have been sharing with that couple. A shared experience is nice, but you expressed enthusiasm and a definite preference for the upgrade to a private cruise, at a discounted price. When you, shortly before the ride, decided to cancel as you thought it would rain, we lost out on that couple as when they contacted back you had already booked, and when you canceled it was too late to get them to rearrange their plans. In any event, cancellations within a non-refundable period are not refundable. While we appreciate you are frustrated, we cannot be held responsible for the consequences of your choices. You made a clear choice of your own accord to first make the booking and upgrade, and then to cancel it. We offered you the option of rescheduling your cruise or even having it transferred to someone else in the future so we were trying to work with you so you could still get value out of your payment. You declined these options. As for the rest of the review, you did not take the experience so you cannot comment on the quality of it. From all the positive reviews we have, anyone can see that the cruise is a truly enjoyable, safe, and pleasant experience. It is disappointing you are unleashing your frustrations on us when we did nothing wrong and tried working with you. You are slandering our company and the experience just because there was unable to be a refund during the non-refundable period, so close to the cruise time. We do hope you were truly able to enjoy the rest of your vacation rather than focus on any negatives.

This booking is a must! We were greeted with a friendly welcome By Larry and his son Eliot. We arrived a bit early and Larry offered us chairs to sit on. We were each given a Lei and although we brought our own drinks(BYOB) we were provided with champagne flutes and a very delicious dessert. Eliot provided a short summary of the canals History which was interesting. He also sang with a good tune and had a little light show going on as we went under the bridge. Don’t forget to kiss kiss going under the bridge. Overall great experience. Thank you Larry & Eliot.
