You'll delve into art, engage with the work on view, and chat with local gallerists and artists. In just two hours, you'll get to know Canyon Road and gain a new perspective on art.

This tour isn't just for art lovers––you'll also learn about the history of Santa Fe, how it became a hub for the arts, and see charming historic architecture.

Minimum numbers may apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough participants to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.
Minimum age is 10 years. If you have younger children, please contact us so we can discuss options with you. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
We will be walking about 3/4 of a mile. Please wear comfortable shoes.
Santa Fe is hot and dry in the summer and can be cold and snowy in the winter. Please dress appropriately and bring bottled water with you.
Canyon Road is a historic area with uneven sidewalks. Many of the galleries have steps between interior rooms. If you have mobility restrictions, please contact us directly so that we can discuss options with you.
Public restrooms are limited on Canyon Road. Please use the restroom before arriving for the tour.

Our party of 4 had a great time with 5 other people on a leisurely two-hour walk up Canyon Road. What made the tour so special was the efforts of the owner/guide, Elaine. She has created a unique experience for her guests, using her academic and experiential training in arts history and museum studies that made the tour interactive, engaging, and informative without it being boring or unengaging. The price pp is reasonable and well worth the education. After the tour, we wandered back down Canyon Road and bought a beautiful piece of artwork.

I visited with my two teens, and Elaine created a memorable and engaging experience for us. The kids really loved it, and we all appreciated how Elaine conversed with us about our tastes, and made the tour an interactive experience that not only informed us about Canyon Road and its galleries, but also about how we experience and appreciate art. Canyon Road is a little overwhelming and having a guide makes a big difference.

My husband and I enjoyed this insider's tour of the Canyon Road galleries. It really elevated our experience to have a local guide who could make the most of our time by choosing galleries that fit our interests. We had engaging conversations about the art and saw some hidden gems we might not have found on our own.
