Redtail Air Adventures

This scenic tour takes you over two of the nation's most popular national parks, Canyonlands National Park and Arches National Park. See all of the great geographical anomalies in both of these landscapes and learn the unique history from a highly trained pilot as you soar over arches, canyons and rivers. Sights include: Upheaval Dome, Green River Goose Neck, Island in the Sky, White Rim, The Maze, Confluence of the Colorado and Green rivers, Landscape Arch, Fisher Towers, Devils Garden, Klondike Bluffs and much more!

Our pilot/guide was Tracey and he was great. He provided a very detailed account of the history and geography of each area of the parks. The views were absolutely amazing. Once we got back to the airport, Tracey was happy to take multiple photos of us with the plane as well. I recommend this to anyone visiting Moab and will likely try to book the helicopter tour in the future.

Redtail's tour is different than many other flight tours in other destinations because you see landmarks the moment of take off to the moment of landing. There is so much to see in Moab and Canyon valley. Geologic fans will have the experience of a lifetime. And for those who toured any of the areas before or after on land, it will help put the entire region into context from an areal point of view. Though I'd just met Tracy (sp), our pilot, that day, I felt like I was flying with someone I'd already known. He was affable, knowledgeable and a skilled pilot. The only drama during our flight was on the ground. I plan to recommend Redtail to anyone I know traveling to Moab. Absolutely the best value tour in all of Moab.

We didn't have time to tour the parks on our own, and this was a great way to see the scenery. It was fun, everyone has a window seat. You can get great photos and our guide/pilot was fun, informative and safe. It was well worth the price for 90 minutes of amazing scenery and views of the parks we couldn't have gotten even if we had weeks to explore! I definitely want to go back someday and explore on our own, but this was a terrific experience. The airport is just north of town, easy free parking, easy check in, clean restrooms.
