Our guide was very knowledgeable of the area. He had many unique insights and his knowledge of the geology and history of the area made for an interesting and informative tour. The terrain was varied and we thoroughly enjoy our tour. It exceeded our expectations!

Our guide Tristan was very good, shared good information about the area and the canyons and did a great job of navigating through the washes full of rushing water because of heavy rains while we were on the tour which added some excitement!

One of the best tours we've taken! This tour takes you from river level in Moab to the top of the mesa in Island in the Sky. Areas that are inaccessible except by 4X4 really bring the park alive. During the half-day tour we learned about petroglyphs, uranium and potash mining, geology, and saw the beautiful scenery of Canyonlands close-up. Our guide Blaine (one of their few year-round guides) was outstanding! He was a font of knowledge about the park and its history, he was personable and entertaining, mindful of our safety (a must in a park without guardrails for 500 foot drop-offs), and an excellent 4X4 driver. The trusty Toyota 4X4's are well-maintained and comfortable -- although expect to be jostled since you are in rugged terrain. We visited in mid-October, which is ideal since the temperatures were very pleasant.
