This was a very thrilling ride -- just enough thrill. One of our riders was extremely afraid of heights but ventured on the tour any way. While riding the White pass in Canyonlands National park, our tour guide paid close attention to her throughout that part of the journey because of the closeness to the cliffs. She was exhilarated after reaching the top! Our tour guide was informative about the different landscapes we saw and was pleasantly interactive with us.

We traveled with 1 other couple and our guide/driver Buzz. Very comfortable way to off road explore a national park. The tour was advertised as a 4 hour tour, but Buzz kept us out exploring for nearly 5.5 hours. He is a self taught geologist and was absolutely fascinating. His knowledge and willingness to share was completely engaging. The region is amazing, made even more so by somebody as well versed in the geology and history. I highly recommend this tour--particularly if you can get Buzz as your guide.

We planned a trip to Moab and Canyonlands some months ago and decided to try an 'off-road' photo tour. We were not sure how we would like it, but thought it might be the best way to get some unusual and great pics. As it turned out this tour exceeded our fondest expectations. Our guide, Mike, was so knowledgeable and helpful, we not only got some great photos, but learned some much about the traditions, geography and geology. Mike was a very careful and skilled driver and never once did we feel unsafe -- even when we ascended the 'white rim' trail up to Island-in-the Sky! Being somewhat height challenged, I admit some views were somewhat scary for me, but I never regretted going because the view at the top in the Island-in-the-sky was simply breath-taking! We did this at sunset which made it all the more awe inspiring. I will never forget this tour and if and when my wife and I return, we will definitely take another tour. I would like to thank Viator and their complete staff our thanks for a great and unforgettable tour in the backcountry of Canyonlands.
