If you aren’t sure about this tour, let me help you- BOOK IT! Our guide was Josh. He is very good at what he does. We went over some very rough terrain in the vehicle and I felt safe with him driving. He was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the area and told us several interesting things about the landscape we were enjoying. As for the hiking portion of the tour- it was amazing! It was a tough hike for someone like me who doesn’t have a ton of experience, but still doable. Josh was there to offer a hand whenever needed! The view at the top is SO rewarding, wow, it is spectacular. We ran into a sudden blizzard while driving back, but Josh tackled that like it was nothing :) Do yourself a favor, and don’t miss this while you are in Moab!

This was one of the highlights of our "Big 5" 2 wk tour; and our guide, Buzz, was exceptional. He was personable, affable, and an easy conversationalist, not to mention a stellar driver to easily navigate the Elephant Hill drive into the Needles district of Canyonlands. He was a wealth of information and it was easy to tell that he loves the area, the parks, and showing it off to others. The hike was so much fun too, and we could've stayed much longer except for the short Fall days that November brings. We were so happy that we did not just enter the Needles and take a hike on our own-this was worth every penny spent on the experience! (and we got some wonderful sage advice on another hike at Fisher Towers-now easily our favorite of the entire 2 wks of hiking in Utah). Thank you Buzz! We appreciate all that you did to make this a memorable experience! PS-easily worth the extra $$ for my husband and me to stay COVID clean and have a private tour
