This was such a memorable experience! We got into areas that not too many people can reach. Charlotte was an excellent driver and tour guide! I wouldn’t have dared take on those roads by myself! She was so prepared as well to keep us safe, which was reassuring as we went into the backcountry. She taught us a bit about desert etiquette as well! All safety equipment (satellite emergency device is with the guide), food, TONS of water, and permits are included. Everybody also gets into Canyonlands on one park pass. Take a water bottle or two for the hike, even though lemonade and water are included (in the Jeep). A small lunch is included. If you’re vegetarian, be sure to let them know ahead of time. I highly recommend going on the hike, if you are physically capable. It is optional, but it is awesome. There is some scrambling up rocks, so if you struggle with mobility, that won’t be for you. Just ask your guide for his/her thoughts on your situation. The tour was definitely a financial splurge, as it is definitely expensive. However, these memories will last forever! We hope to go on another guided tour of the Maze in the future.

Don't visit Moab, Arches and/or Canyonlands National Parks without visiting the Needles District of Canyonlands. We visited all five National Parks in Utah. The Needles District of Canyonlands is our favorite. The Navtec tour was OUTSTANDING!!

This day was filled with so many fun surprises. The 4x4 ride was on much more rough terrain than we expected and it was exciting. The hike was a little tougher than we imagined, but the area we hiked through was beautiful. Our driver and guide, Josh, made the whole experience so much fun. He was an awesome driver, took really good care of us with encouragement when things got a little tough on the hike for us, (old and not experienced hikers) great conversationalist, full of knowledge about the entire area, and he even prepared a delicious lunch for us.
