This trip let you see views of Canyonlands that you wouldnāt see otherwise and only very experienced drivers should be on White Rim. Matt was knowledgeable and shared information about the park and geology IF we asked. But, he did not give much info otherwise. On our way out, we didnāt stop because Matt said weād stop at places on the way back. It made the drive out rather long. A LOT of the reviews mentioned lunching right by the river, which would have been nice. We lunched no where near it on the side of the road in hot sun. The lunch was good and filling and Matt had lots of water. But bring your own water bottle to fill!! Concerning āhikesā we did 1 very minor walk up a wash out. Other than that, nothing but a few stops for scenic views. Matt mentioned he sometimes had people who didnāt even want to get out of the truck and maybe assumed our group was that? He should have asked if we wanted more hiking since all 4 of us did and it was very obvious from conversation we all often hiked. On the way back, it didnāt seem like we did the stops he had passed on the way out. Except for seeing some spectacular views from the white rim, some other reviewers seem to have had a more complete experience. For the good news, the Schaefer trail and views were great and Matt took us out of the park down a very narrow road down to the river that was very fun! So, Iād say it was a good tour for views but Matt needs to have the trip flow better, make stops up and back, find a better lunch spot and understand better what kind of experience his clients are looking for (eg hiking vs sitting in a truck).
