Our day trip exceeded expectations in every way. Josh, our fabulous guide was an encyclopedia of information about geology and Native American culture. He took us to places we never could have seen on our own. It was a remarkable, unforgettable experience.

We hired NavTec for two tours, Canyonlands white rim trail and Arches backcountry, both full day tours. Josh B was a guide and he was fabulous. In fact so good, we asked for him again for our second tour. The white rim trail was so beautiful. We barely saw any other people, and Josh took us to the such magnificant overlooks. We ate lunch overlooking the Colorado under a backcountry arch. On the drive home we took the switchback Schaffer road!!! And a backcountry dirt road for the final leg. In all cases, Josh was knowledgeable, expert, and helpful to one of our passengers who had mobility issues. As far as I'm concerned this is the only way to see the park. We were picked up at our hotel, and lunch was provided. Bring layers depending on the season and good walking shoes. I had ankle high hiking shoes but others did not, and all worked.

My boyfriend and I did the 4x4 tour of White Rim Trail with guide Josh and it was amazing! It was just us and one other couple (which is all the vehicle can hold) so it felt very personalized. Josh had a great knowledge of the area and its history - especially for it being his first season in this area! He showed us different types of fossils in the rocks and also had a great sense of humor. It was neat seeing the White Rim area since it's not easily accessible without a high clearance vehicle and the skill to drive it. We had many stops to look at rock formations and canyons and stopped midday near a shady table by the river for a picnic prepared by Josh. I'd definitely choose this company when I return to the area for another tour! The only thing I would add would be a stop at the Visitor Center and the short hike to Mesa Arch. It looked like we drove near it and that hike is near the Visitor Center and very short. This was our only day in Canyonlands so that would have been cool to see!
