Good tour but need to take when the House and Supreme Court are in session. Not much to see on Saturday when they are not in session. Tour guide was wonderful and knowledgeable.

Tour guide Liam escorted us on a highly informative tour around Capitol Hill. He was very knowledgeable of the history and architecture of the Capitol and Library of congress - my two favorite stops - and allowed us to linger and take loads of pictures. We were supposed to be in a tour group of 10 people, but only my friend and I were there to meet Liam, so we had a very special morning, and he was happy to answer all our questions. Liam even arranged for us to get an elevator pass in the Capitol and Library of Congress - our tired knees were glad! He helped us find a lovely cafe for lunch that was nearby and historic. Perfect end to a memorable first day in DC!
