Great experience with Eli! Let DC by Foot do all the planning. You just need to show up, walk, and take in all the amazing information and facts.

The tour itinerary was well rounded with destinations to the library of congress and capital building. Our tour guide was very nice but lacked the enthusiasm and fun anecdotes that make it worth paying for a tour.

Tour was good, guide was bad. Not informative. Spent the whole time talking about herself and had to break away to yell at a landscaper. Couldn’t answer what the Supreme Court does to a visitor from the Netherlands. Went on this tour last week with different family and it was great. This tour guide was not good.

Thank you for taking the time for sharing and I'm sorry to hear you did not enjoy your tour this time. The guide for this tour is one of our most highly rated guides; in fact she got two 5 star reviews from other guests on the same tour you took; but we understand that you did not enjoy your experience with her. We want guests to feel their tour was worth it, so we have refunded your tickets. To clarify however a few things that may be misrepresented in your statement for other guests who read reviews of our tours - the guide leads custom tours of the Supreme Court and is well versed in this building; but the guest in question did not speak English as a first language and while the guide was trying to rephrase some statements, you decided to interject the answer. The guide also did not yell at a landscaper on the tour; but she did tell the group that she would wait for the leaf blowing to stop before continuing to speak - which is standard for all tour guides; as it is disruptive to try to yell at guests over leaf blowers. It seems that this is a matter of not enjoying a tour guides personality and we understand that happens some times. Guides try their best to connect with all guests and the guide tried to make the tour extra enjoyable for your group by adding an additional stop that is not always included by going inside the Supreme Court since security lines were short that day. We do our best to provide a great experience to all guests and I'm sorry you did not like your tour guide but I hope you enjoyed your visit to DC nonetheless.
