I just spent 10 days in Salida CO, the 8th day on which I married the man of my dreams. On day 7, 35-ish of the 150+ that made their way to Salida from Albuquerque NM for our blessed event joined my groom and me for 3+ epic hours with the Captain Zipline Team. At $85/person, we never thought more than a handful would join us...boy were we wrong! Not only did this excite us, but it momentarily flabbergasted Captain Zippy's crew... After we got threw the funny, fun, chaotic logistics in the office, 3 vans whisked us ~8 miles downstream to ziplining heaven. Every vehicle had fun, and then every group (designated to expedite our zippIng experience) had a blast. My guides, Shawn and James, we're exceptional; not only did they keep us all safe (there is some technique, finesse, and caution required to optimize your ziplining adventure), but they added humor, compassion, and wit to our experience. Yay Captain Zipline (and Shawn and James and Eric and Kirsten)! DO IT all you who read this!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our first experience at ziplining with Captain Zipline. Safety was a top concern and we felt totally prepared after our practice time on the training line. Our whole group was offered additional time on the training line if we felt we needed the time. When we went on the first line it was thrilling and no one had any problems. Our only disappointment was that there were only 6 lines to zip on (7 if you count the short practice line), but we loved the experience.

We decided to try out a zip line this past weekend while attending the Southwest FJR Owners rally held in Salida this year (and next year I hope). We found Captain Zipline and made the reservation. We did the 9:00am session and it was AWESOME…the facility, the views…the guides…everyone was top notch. The folks at Captain Zipline are a great bunch, always watching out for your safety while still maintaining an absolutely thrilling time. You should not pass this one up for an adrenaline rush in the air...give them a try!!! You won’t be sorry!!
