My 2 teenagers went ziplining today with Captain Zipline and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. At an extra cost of $20 I went along as a spectator which I gather can cause some problems for the guides but they were OK with it as the lady in the office gad said it was OK when I booked. Both the kids

We went on the 10:00 tour. Get there at least 1/2 hour early (missed the 9:00). Very friendly. They took us by van up into the hills and helped us get on our harnesses, went over the safety features and gave us a short practice on a low line. After that you step off the side of the mountain and go flying over a deep canyon. Each line is a different angle and length. It was so much fun that I didn't want it to stop. Great adventure while out west. I would highly recommend this zipline company. They were great! Wear sunscreen, bring a bottle of water and a small camera to fit in your pocket. And be prepared to smile!

We had a great afternoon soaring over the terrain near Salida with the folks at Captain Zipline. Our gear was carefully selected to meet our individual needs and we got a brief but thorough training session on the practice lines to prepare us for the real thing. Our fears melted away as we saw the quality that goes into every aspect of the operation. The equipment was in top shape, and the take-off and landing areas are well-planned and constructed. We started on shorter lines, and those in the group with jitters were soon stepping to the front of the line as the level of confidence and fun soared rapidly. I can't wait to go back and take more friends to enjoy this unique experience!
