Unfortunately it was only my mom and I on this tour, but lucky for us Cherie was the perfect guide on our first stay in Carlsbad. Every place we went to we had our own personal guide. We got to be her taste testers for a new restaurant on her stop too. I highly recommend doing one of these tours, you learn a lot about a city, not just the food, but history and local info.

I had an afternoon to kill while hubby played in a golf tournament. Why not combine some of my favorite things -- Walking for exercise, tour, and eating! Cheri was a knowledgeable and gracious host. I was the only singleton on this tour with five other couples but everyone was so nice! The food was delicious and small taste portions was just right! My favorite was the eggplant sliders at Gregorios. I especially loved the murals (we saw three). I was able swing back by some interesting stores for shopping after the tour.

I was visiting family in Carlsbad and we came across this activity to do. We had a 7 y/o girl with us and 4 adults, and it was just us on the tour. The food was great! We got to add extra wine tasting in addition to the wine tasting added. There were deals offered at each of the locations so we could take the experience with us! Tour guide was very friendly, asking questions and telling us about herself, and including history of Carlsbad as we went as well. DEFINITELY recommending this to explore Carlsbad, or even just a day with family. She asked us about our food preferences or allergies in advance as well. Please, go and enjoy!
